Carlos in the next NME

The Svengali cast

From NME.com:
Former Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, ex-Libertine Carl Barat, Goldie Lookin Chain's Maggot and former Creation records chief Alan McGee appear in a new comedy show that debuts online this week (beginning May 4). The four-some appear in the new episode of 'Svengali', the online show written by Dean Cavanagh and also featuring 'Shameless' actor Jonathan Owen. See the next issue of NME, out on Wednesday (May 6), for an interview with Barat about his new role and an update on his solo plans.

Episode 3 of Svengali is up on youtube. The preview says: "It's an improvised twelve minute special in which Dixie gatecrashes a live radio show at The Foundry. Our cast this episode features Jonathan Owen, Roger Evans and Sean Harris playing photographer Anton Blair. The episode was shot during the recording of Tracey Moberly's weekly radio show for Resonance FM. Guests on Tracey's show this week are Alan Mcgee, A&R man Brian Horse, ex-Libertines Carl Barat, ex-Oasis guitarist Bonehead, Goldie Lookin' Chain's Maggot, Gavin Bain and his band Hopeless Heroic. Hear the full story of Dixie's invasion as it happened on The Late Late Breakfast Show, Tuesday 5th May at 8pm on Resonance 104.4 London or www.resonancefm.com".

Actually The Mighty Carlos is as expressive as a turnip. To the mandatory question "When are the Libertines coming back?" he replies "It's a bit more complicated than you think". Then he proceeds to a fake pee. Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, enjoy!

I suspect that Carl can't actually act very well from that clip...
or maybe it's because it was improvisational.

Nice to see him doing something different anyway. Thanks for this. :)

He's pretty much like that in real life, isn't he (apart from faking his pee)? I think he availed himself quite well of it.
